The “Low Vision” Cocoons block out 100% of UVA and UVB light, and perhaps most importantly, all or most blue light, so are very good for your eyes. Amber, orange, and amber/orange colored sunglasses block out 100% of blue light, which has been linked to macular degeneration. Plum colored sunglasses block out about 85% of blue light, and yellow-colored sunglasses, which are excellent for cloudy days and night time, block out about 55% of blue light.
